Hey do any of you guys know where I can find a place that will do a window mod for me in the Richmond, VA area or even the Lynchburg, VA area?

www.yellowpages.com
www.qwestdex.com

try looking for metal working places on those sites (not exactly sure what subject to look under)....or else just go through your own yellow pages (i find those websites much faster and more up-to-date). I'm sure you will be able to find a shop SOMEWHERE that is willing to do some custom cutting.

As for the window itself, www.crazypc.com www.xoxide.com and many other sites sell the kits to install the window....all they require you to do is cut the hole (which I'm assuming is what you're having difficulty with). I must note, however, that you should have the window itself BEFORE you get the hole cut.....

Anyway, half the fun of having a window mod is doing it yourself. I know you probably don't have the tools, but (even though it hurts) you can just invest a few bucks in a tin-snip and do it all literally by hand. Other methods are jigsaw and dremel/rotary tool. Just something that cuts metal will do. You will find that you have more pride when you do all the work yourself, hehe.

If you can't find anything in the yellow pages, then try asking friends/family. You're bound to know someone (or know someone who knows someone, heh) with either tools you can borrow, or someone who can do the cutting for you.
