Have the same problem with my 1.33 i have an abit kt7a-raid maybe someone could help both of us?
They're a breeze to update the bios. You can download the update program and any of the bios revisions you want from the Abit site. Make a dos bootable floppy and put the two file on the floppy. I doubt your inability to OC at a speed that worked previously is a result of your bios revision though. I am using the YH revision and it works fine. I believe there are some later revisions out there, that address specific problems. I used to be able to run my 1G/266 and KT7A solid at 10x145 @ 1.85Vcore, but with the advent of warmer weather and my computer room now running around 22C as opposed to 16C a month ago, I experience occasional failures, so I dropped back to 10x140 @ 1.8Vcore and it runs fine. No rocket science there.

How do I make a DOS bootable floopy I got the Iwill mobo I downloaded the latest bios.
It depends upon what O/S you are using. If you are using Win98, shell out to dos. Put a known-good blank floppy in the floppy drive. (rolling my eyes) At the dos command prompt, type format A: /q /u /s and hit the enter key. It'll instruct you to put a disk in, but you already have done that. Hit the enter key again. After it finishes, it will prompt you for a volume name. Just hit the enter key again. It will prompt you if you wish to do another one, type N. Now copy the flash utility and the bios revision binary file onto the floppy and reboot. Stop in the bios and set it to boot from the floppy and continue booting. After it boots to the floppy, you will have the Dos command prompt. Now run the flash utility in accordance with the instructions that come with it. I am not familiar with IWILL, but it can't be too different from the Abit. If, during the burn, the program asks you if you want to save a copy of the original bios, answer Yes. That way, if the new revision does not work out, you can always put the old version back on. Do not perform this if you are in the middle of a lightning storm, or any other event that may cause a power outage during the burn. You don't want to be stuck with a half-burned bios. After the burn is completed and you exit the flash utility, shut down the PC. Clear the cmos and reboot. You will have to re-enter your parameters. Good Luck.

Well Nm 1440 mhz its @ 1500Mhz now 10.5x142 = ) voltage is 1.85vmem voltage is @ 2.7 I got PC2100 Samsung will this burn out @ these clock rates ? I gota update this bios ASAP plz reply to other posts ty guys.
Your comp being not stable at certain speed has almost nothing to do with the bios.
it`s either temp,or needs more voltage for the vcore,or the I/O voltage needs to br uped due to overspec fsb,or your chip was never meant to be running at that speed.
it is just a luck of the draw.....
