can use fsb to overclock but can only goto 733mhz. have unlocked many t-birds and durons but this is wierd.
please help

That's because slot-A is hardware multiplyer locked, without a modification, you can't change your multiplyer, only FSB. To change multiplyer, you need to plug on a Gold finger device (or GFD) onto the connector, hidden under the case. This is a little nifty device to override the factory default and set multiplyer manually. The slot-A 700's are very nice overclocking, but for some real performance you will have to crack open that case and get a gold finger. If you want some info on the case cracking / gfd and other slot-A bizz, let me know, I'm a big fan of slot A. Made my 500 run at 800 8)

Get yourself a GFD..You can get those quite cheap at ebay.com..
