Completed! The Matrix: Rebirth 8.0 Case Mod on TechTV

Well its completed!.....the first of two case mods based on The Matrix is complete, and will be featured on TechTV's 'The Screen Savers' Monday September 8th at 7:00pm eastern. (Tomorrow!)

hrm.....wonder if you could make that baby do the "dancing baby" thing, lol. that was pretty cool, and I must say nice work and great attention to detail.

One thing they didn't mention on TSS was the specs. I'm assuming by what the creator said during the show, it was mainly a HTPC....can we assume mini-itx?

I agree with that. I just want the techtv clip to get a full view of the finished product. because it was a good modding job and rather unique, but ya.. not overly beautiful. like the silver waterblocks thorilan is using on his new project (made by someone here.. misplaced thread/name) even if not necesary its all pretty cool. and props to him. its not like its some cheesy store bought mod like you see frequently on "modding" sites. so again, props for the original mod. crappy, decent or awesome, good for him. and I think it looks pretty sweet

Davesauce, you could do the dancing baby thing..but it would take more than just photoshop :p

speaking of TechTV they are giving away a really neat laser cutting machine (MSRP 10000$US) if they like the mod you send in to them best!!!

im unimpressed. THe mod has VERY little to do with a computer and alot more to do with a sculpture over the computer. If the computer was actually involved in the case, and not a second thought which it looks like it is, I would be extremely impressed.

that contest is bunk....all submissions must be mailed in...teh sux. Hence, I didn't enter. Aside from that, I wouldn't be able to go down to the show because of school and all if I won.....not that I think I'd win, but still, heh.

Please explain how the computer is 'not involved with the case"?..maybe I missed something when I integrated the animatronics, VFD display, lighted marquee and biometric fingerprint reader into the case?...Feedback would be appreciated. Cheers!

Yep and this looks like if you entered it would be very competitive with ZapWizard's Ammo Box LAN PC entry. Mod on my friend, :)
