Some say that if you have good CPU speed.... like a 1 GHz + you can decode the analogue some digital TV channels in realtime. Is there any truth to that? Is anybody well informed in these areas?

It could very well be, for some more response to your question, post in the 'software' folder, as the members over there know lot's about using your CPU power in real life. Also try using a more 'speaking name' for you topic. Succes in finding your decoder.
