I cant figure this out guys... I got my 700mhz duron, my new soyo k7vta-b, and all I get out of it is bios rom checksum errors...
I can get it to overclock at 8.5x10, but not 9x10 or anything higher, it wont even post (eather I get a checksum error, or a blank screen) I tried to change my core voltage to everything from 1.65 to 1.91, and I still got nothing. I also unclocked with a pencil, not solder or anything of that kind (if it makes a differance)
my temps are 44c FULL LOAD and 30c idle. not too hot. but I cant figure this checksum crap out.
you guys got any ideas on what's going wrong here? I'd like to get this baby up to 1ghz.
right now I got a Riva TNT1 16Meg AGP vid card, with 384megs of pc133 ram (128 + 256)
