well ive seen so much here and other sites that i have to tell u that the best way i found to connect these bridges are with a stencil.itried the pencil several times getting partial unlock, then the defogger paint using a toothpick for a brush which worked ok, but i wasnt happy with it.it was difficult to tell if any were overlapping.so i found a sticker that was for a floppy disc still on the backing paper.it had a red border so i cut the border off and stuck it over the l1's and rubbed gently with my fingers, making an impression on the sticker of the l1's(the first time i used a pencil lightly going back and forth to show the l1's).pulled the sticker off and placed back on the paper, placed it on a peice of cardboard and used an exacto knife to cut the strips out.using a magnifier placing the sticker back on is probably the hardest part.i trimmed a nail polish brush down to just a few hairs and painted wuth defogger paint, pulled off sticker while still wet and there you go.im pretty sure that other have figured this out but just havent taken the time to post it.it is quicker and easier than trying to hold your breath and paint one bridge at a time and if u r carfull cutting the sticker it will not have any overlapping of the defogger.my eyes have gone from 20/10 to 20/50 in just a few years so this works well for us older folks.i would post with pictures and more details but i just cant afford the time.hope this helps someone!
