Has anyone gotten a 92 or 120mm fan to mount on an SLK-800A

Hello guys,

I recently purchased a Thermalright SLK-800A. I know that it can use 80mm fans, but I was wondering if anyone got it to work with a 92mm or 120mm fan (Hopfully with some not-too-difficult modding).

This would yield a better noise-to-CFM ratio

Thanks.

You can use 92 without much modding at all, which may cut your noise level down a bit. Still, don't expect too much better, if not worse, of a noise/performance ratio with a 92mm, as the dead zone is larger, and only about 80 sq mm is actually going to get cooled on the heatsink itself.
