Well... I just got my Abit NF7-S, pulled it out of the bag, and my eyes immediatly noticed something that's going to be a problem. My power supply, a Vantec stealth 520, comes with a 24 pin power plug. "universal connector" my butt! Yeah yeah, I know it's not the greatest, but when I got it, I needed it. NOW! one of those situations. Link (http://vantecusa.com/van520.html). This would be cool if the 12V 4 pin plug was right next to the 20 pin plug on the MOBO, but no, it's about an inch south. So how am I supposed to plug in the 12V 4 pin? Could I whip out the trusty Dremel and wack off the 4 pins in question and move them south to the plug?
Any ideas would be appreciated.

the PSU has a 24 pin ATX connector and an 8 pin connector for the
CPU correct? what's the model #?
the link you supplied doesn't mention anything about it being for a dual
CPU board . 24 pins indicate it was made for a dualie board.
they make 24 to 20 pin adapters (http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduct.asp?DEPA=1&submit=Go&description=Model%2CTC%2D24%2F20).
there are 8 to 4 pin adapters as well. i couldn't find one at newegg tho.
personally, i would return it and buy either a Antec true power, or
a Sparkle/Fortron.

It's not for a dual board. The people at Vantec, with all there infinite wisdom, combined the standard 20 pin ATX power plug and the 4 pin 12 volt plug (for P4) into one 24 pin uber plug. It came with a 24 - 20 pin adapter, but if I use that, I've got no 12v 4 pin for the 4 pin 12v plug. This is an Socket 462 board, they usually don't use the 4-pin, but they are starting to. I'm thinking I'm going to wack of the 4 pin plug and make my own.
