Actually I would disagree with that statement - I feel that newer models are typically better especially for Bartons which have not been out that long so the process is still maturing. Newer ones are typically, though not always, better on normal air cooling.

I agree new ones _should_ be better than the older ones. It should perform about similar or better than mine (results in sig). Some older ones _may_ be better in case of extreme cooling (prommy, etc.) but not for sure.
