Is it better to have my HSF fan blowing onto or away from the heatsink?

Onto it is the best in my experience

Depends on you HS. Globalwins blow onto and I believe Alphas suck (air that is)

I think the best way to know is try both ways on that particular Heat sink, blowing and sucking to see which way is better? :-) What works on Alpha does not mean will work on others :-)
