Whats the normal temps for an Athlon 1.33 ?

When idle, MBM registers around 37C but under full load it gets to as high as 52C.

Is this not too high ?? The case temp averages around 29C and i have quite a few fans:
1 blowing in from the bottom, 2 h/drive heatsink/fans and 1 fan blowing out. The cpu
came with a Globalwin FOP32. I know that the FOP also came with thermal tape so i might
remove that and go Artic Silver II.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thats a bit high but nothing to really worry about. I would certanly remove that tape and use some AS on there.

Its the highest i've seen it but playing games like Red Alert2 yields around 43C And i'm not even OC'ing this baby...........................yet ..


what abut a different HSF ? I dont no which one to get that will improve on the FOP but i dont want something that will add more decibals to my "Boeing in a case"

Cooling the 1.33 with air is not easy. There aren't many options for you without moving to a Delta 38 fan. Many of the new heat sinks come with the Delta to ensure that they give decent performance.
