that "could" be a mem problem- cause i have never heard of that RAM, could be not so good for OCing, try a lower FSB like 5 lower if it doesnt freeze its probably a Mem problem that is one of the biggest OCing hurdles besides HEAT

When I have the overall speed (mult x fsb) too high for the vcore and temperature, that is what happens to me. Doesn't matter if the speed is too high because of too high a multiplier or too high an fsb. What it does tell me is that I am very close to a successful OC. The further away you are from okay, the less far you get into the boot process. If I'm way "off-base" I won't even get out of POST. That, having been said, you can get Windows to load successfully and still not quite be stable. After that milestone, you still have to "run the gauntlet" of stress testing. Every system will have it's own unique "speed bumps" to get over, on the way to maximum OC. One for me is multipliers above 10. 10x145 (1450) runs fine, but in order to get 10.5 stable, I have to seriously reduce my FSB, like to 124 (1302). Certainly not a linear process. It takes a while to get a feel for what you can get away with on a given system compliment.
