1.4gig compatible with current boards

Was wondering if the new 1.4 gigs due out will be able to run on boards such as the Abit Kt7aR, Kt7E, Iwill KK266R-the regulat boards and if i can use regular pc133 ram

I would think Yes to your question because people are Oc'ing chips above 1.4 with no problems. I mean I seen a extreme OC to 2.3 ghz I think on one board where they used liquid nitrogen and the board handled it ok needed some voltage mods and such but the Bios and so forth took it.

Actually its not the speed that becomes an issue. It's whether or not the board recognizes the chip. I would think that this will not be a problem, maybe a bios update at the most.
