well seems like it took forever but the all the mods are done.i did all the ones macci posted that he did to his card.i was able to get 500core(on water)@385ram(heatsinked)core voltage for the those settings was 1.99vgpu/1.51vref/2.97vddq/3.12vddr
3dmark2001=20272............3dmarko3=6970

all were ran at 2250mhz

let me know if any of you have scores close to this at this speed or within 100mhz thx

:drool: Very, very nice. Your scores seem perfect. At the moment you're owning mine 250mhz below me :D :bang head:. Looks like I really do need to disable APIC. Looks like you may be able to break 22k with your setup, though, especially with your processor pushed further.

-Did you test the card with VGPU/VDD mod's prior to modding VDDQ/VREF? If so, what did you find out?

Before mods, just at install time, the 3dmark01 bench score was 18512 stock everything.

Real nice to see 20242 so fast even at 1024X768 Res. It was 22142 score at 640X480 32bit color. Wait til we put our pelt back ( we blew that up by a stupid mistake) and get our barton back up in the 2400+ghz area! Bet we really knock that card around!

We will have pics available this weekend that you can see. This is a frankenstein card but We are proud of what we have gotten to date but never satisfied until the evelope has been pushed to the max.

Sorry, had a brain cramp there for a minute. We did not on this card. Since we did mods similar to this on other cards we had, (not so extensive) We didn't feel we needed to on this one.

Once we had this card ready to do the mods, It wasn't going anywhere until it was complete with everything done. This is also the first time that we bought a card this expensive and it went from the box to the mods table and THEN into the system. Bawls to the wall eh?

We will get some pics and stuff up soon and if you want, we will email you a pic of the card with the mods on it complete. HAve a good weekend!

What do the VDDQ and VREF mods do?

What are those voltages used for/by?

It's late right now and I am going to saw some logs! lol If you pm me tomorrow, I will give you the info and the complete mod we did on the card. Also, I will, if you give us your email address, I will send you a pic of the card with the mods on it. Check out the website project on the URL listed below. You will see how the mods affect the score as compared to others using similar cards at a aprox. cpu speed. Looks like we rank pretty high against the others there. :D

hmm i have the exact same card as you. where can i get info on volt modding? im gonna be adding ramsinks and a peltier (mcw50t) to it so i should benifit from a voltmod or two, but i am a complete noob and have no clue where to start.

From what I picked up disabling apic gives lower 3dmark scores. I don't care so much for benchmarks, and tried disabling it as I've done it with just about ever motherboard before my nf7. (with good results) I felt that even overall performance was less snappy, and my 3dmark score came down.
