Hey Guys,
Alright, I just installed my new system today. (Specs Below). I ran 3dmark03 right away. All my clock speeds are stock. Ran Default 3dmark settings and got a score of 2404. This isn't nearly as good as most people i'm comparing to. Any idea why this could be? I'm running a crappy 20 gig 5400 rpm harddrive, that wouldnt be the problem though, would it?

the 5400rpm hard drive will cause your score to be lower then it should be but i don't think that would cause you to lose 1000+ points.

make sure antialiasing and anistropic filtering are set to application preference, detail settings are set to performance and that the card is running in AGP8X mode (AGP8X doesn't give a major performance boost but it's good for a few points).

also, what driver version are you running? if you installed the driver that came with the videocard then your using out of date drivers (driver CD's are never current).
