I Had installed my new aquastealth 2 watercooling kit I heard a snap when i went to put on my water bloack I looked @ Cpu looked fine so i said must be okay well when i went to bootup with everything installed rite I get this very ANNOYING BEEPING SOUND beeep beeeeep im like wtf I tried installing my ram in 3 diff spots on my Iwill KA266-R mobo and It still won't go on I only get this annoying beeping sound. I also Had Tried my CPU with my HSF globalwin wbk38 still beep sound I think my CPU is dead RIP = ( if u can help me find out if i destroyed my CPU or did something incorrect plz post for help ty. = (

And a little more than 2 hours to respond as well
If it's beeping then your processor is probably good as it takes a processor to generate those beep codes. Just to be sure though, you could try it in a different machine. How many beeps are you getting?

And doesn't motherboard manuals usually explain what the beep codes mean?

welll its dead = ( Ithink . I get like 2 -3 beeping sounds when i put it on the cpu looks fine the core don't look cracked I don't get it. Maybe I broke my ram some how and thats what gives me a beeping sound ?

Well I took a good look @ my chip and I can see on the edge of the core it is chiped off goodbye my CPU i guess I think from removing my global win WBK38 fan I musta damaged it The watercool I doubt did that when i put the waterblock on. Do you know If I can use the copper or aluminum chip with my CPU cause if I can to help not damage it ill order it off line. ty
