zalman is quieter, slk matched with a tornado or something will give slightly lower temps, but is way louder. And check out the new swifty heatsink, it *looks* pretty nice. oh and do a search, you should find your answer.;)
 
I have the Zalman AlCu. on my Abit board. I can't hear it over my case fans and it dropped my temps about 5C under load.

@ shard, you are going to get a lot of differnt posts supporting both heatsinks, if they both fit on your motherboard, i don't think you can go wrong with either one
 
i got the 7000 cu and it runs about 4c cooller then the Tt valcano 7+ that was on my p4, and it is massivly quiter :D get the CU dont let the board snapping weight scare you :D
