My computer wont post anymore. I tried overclocking my athlonxp 1700+ the other day , and i think i jacked up the fsb too high, now my comp wont post anymore and its making a beeping noise every five secs, i think i fried my cpu. I took my cpu out and the beeping stoped and of course no post, i have a shuttle ak31 rev2.
also, i resetted cmos and it still doesnt post, i believe the problem is the cpu and ill probably have to get an new one, oh, im using a ozc gladiator too cool it, any suggestions? thanks

Ya, long spaced out beeps would indicate memory.. If you take all your memory off your motherboard, when you try to boot you should get long beeps. If you put your ram back in and get the same beep code, then you know the problem is your RAM.
