just swapped my fx5200 128mb for a 9000 pro 128mb...just curious to see what kind of 3d2k1 and 3d2k3 scores evryone has gotten...and whether or not you're using dx8 or dx9....thanks.

so far, i've gotten 8613 in 3d2k1, using catalyst 3.7 and dx9...i hate to say it but my fx5200 was doing better....not much, but better...maybe i'm doing something wrong...

the 9000/9200 is pretty much a crippled 9100 which is pretty much an r8500. While the r8500 is still a competitive card, it is nothing close to top end. basically what i'm trying to say in the nicest way that i can, is that the 9000 is crap. you would have been better off with an 8500le or a 9100.

second opinions?

My Radeon 9000 Pro scored about twice as high in 3DMark01 SE as the FX5200 it replaced. The 64 MB non-pro 9000 actually beats out the FX5200 by a small margin.

You should try the latest catalyst drivers (5.4). ;)
