NEC MS97f 19" Flat Screen CRT Monitor
peopel have confirmed the 95$, B&M only!
the 20 off 85 coupon

some say there's a 10% off on all displays.
also, if you buy 2 with some filler, you can use the 50 off 200 coupon.

there's 2 60$, one for NEC, one for Staples, both however req original UPC. the rebates limit you to 2 rebate per address.
so if you get both 60$, after the rebates there's chance that you can even make some money!
lol

I went to staples (SFO area) and they never heard of a deal like this - the manager told me the price was the same as the online one ($249.98)... (w/ the $60 MIR of course)
:( - maybe the guy was incompetent - but he was firm on the $249.98 price

I ran to my local staples and YES they did have the "NEC MS97f 19" Flat Screen CRT Monitor" for 95.00 dollars and the coupon of $20 off $85 worked with the Monitor, so i was out the door after tax for $80.50. The manager told me that staples is not going to carry CRT Monitors any longer, thus the reason for the clearance. Now for a Question, since the Monitor didn't come with the upc, how in the heck do i send in the rebate? (Thanks for the heads up on the is deal, I had to get a PAIR)

According to what's stated in that link, this isn't a true flat screen. This NEC sounds like the 19" Dell I have at work; the glass is flat but the CRT is curved. On the Dell it's not much of a curve, but it is enough to cause a slight glare between the glass and CRT. I've had this Dell for about a year and I'm used to it now, but when my job hauled out a perfectly good 19" flat screen and replaced it with this cheapo, imitation flat screen, the glare really bugged me. Oh well, only 2 more years with this one and maybe they'll replace it with a real flat screen CRT or even a flat panel.

I checked the Dallas stores today when they opened and there all gone. The closest place was McAllen, TX and they had 3 in stock so anyone in that area wanting one better act fast.
well, i just got one earlier today :D, very happy. one of the staples wouldn't sell their floor display, i even asked their manager. but after going through all the staples here in my area, i finally got to buy one.
very nice i will check it out tommroow.. i hope they have it!!!
the closest to me is in another city, around 100 miles away,, ugh

just tell him to scan the item or check the computer, and watch his jaws drop.
