View Full Version : what is the best tool for removing my cpu?

i have the slot a type and i have cpu cleand but im curious as to what tools u guys use to remove the actual chip. i was thinking of putting soft pads at the end of a pair of needle nose pliers. probably not huh?

if its' a true slot a, you can't remove the chip. It's part of the cartrige.

so ur sayin if i burn up my cpu, the new one will come with the little board attached to it?
im very glad i asked bfore i tried to get it off lolololol

ya man ,,if its a true slot1 it will be all one unit ,,if its in a slocket it will have a little lever to let the FCPGA come off
