I have a crappy jetway mobo and a Duron 650. It came unlocked, I can change the FSB and core voltage, but I can't change the multiplier. It is 100x6.5 now, can get it to 708.5 maximum (stable) @ 6.5x109
I can get 715 @ 6.5x110 if I put the volt to 1.7, but any higher is way unstable. Any hints? I've got the Jetway 663AS Pro w/ KT133A chipste and the 686B south bridge. I treid the pencil trick - didn't work (it is alreday unlocked i think), and when I tried cutting and connecting the L2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 bridges to get 700MHz @ 1.55v It locked up. I have the latest BIOS, I have the VIA drivers v4.29 and WinMe. ANY help, pleese!

It's not unlocked if you can't change the multiplier. I haven't heard Duron's coming unlocked, either.

Did you pencil the L1 bridges? If you couldn't change the multiplier after penciling, you didn't get the bridges connected. I suggest trying the famous defogger kit, if you're into permanent solutions.

Hopefully I've misunderstood you cutting L2-7 bridges... Unless you've done your research, which I haven't.

That FSB sounds like a KT133, not KT133A, but I've known to be wrong.
You can't change the voltage higher?

Also, read the articles about those bridges jobs, you can find some of them here at oc'ers.
