I am in the market for buying a new video card. Here are the Cards that i am considering:
ATI Radeon 9000 Pro 64MB DDR
ATI Radeon 9200SE 128MB DDR
ATI Radeon 9100 128MB DDR
I was wondering how well these card preform and would like to know how they compare to each other. I am not interested in a Nvidia so please don't post about me getting one becasue i am not interested. no offense.
Thx

9600.
9100 is just modifed 9000 stay clear of it, among the cards you didn't named 9600 is the best option from those you named i think 9200 pro 64megs (i still think you go for 9600 pro)

Nope, the 9200 is based on the 9000. The 9100 is by far the best of the 3 cards listed.

The 9100 is based upon the 8500, I dont think it's the best. My guess is that since the 9200 is based upon the 9000 and the 9100 is based upon the 8500. I'd probably go with the 9200 since it's obviously a little better than the 9000. Also, I don't believe the 9100 because it's based upon the 8500 (I used to flash my 8500 to 9100 bioses) doesn't have DX9 compliance. Then again I'm not sure if the 9200 has DX9 compliance :), I'd say it's more likely though.
Edit: Ok, I've found that neither cards are DX9 compliant. The faster of the 2 is 9100 @250/460 whilst the 9200 runs @ 250/400, but the 9100 only supports 4x AGP, whilst 9200 supports 8X.

That is some good reasoning, but you're wrong. The 9100 is the 8500LE. The 8500LE was outperforming the 9000 so they decided to rename it to 9100 to end some of the confusion. After a few weeks, they decided confusing people was fun and so they did it again when they released the 9200. The 9100 outperforms the 9200.

I should also add that none of the 3 cards support DX9.

Yea, I'd go with the 9100, or maybe just buy an 8500LE, not much of a difference. Plus the difference between 4x and 8x agp is negligable.
