the score for my ti4800 on 3dmark2001 se is only 9380. cannot even break the 1k mark.

how do u ppl run the test? just click start or choose the test to perform?

I set my AGP aperture size at 128 mb.. dun know if that affects performance.

does yr desktop resolution affect the benchmarking???

I am currently using the lastest detonator drivers.
that 45.$%&^% whatever driver.

teach me how to break the mark without o/c. I tot it will be more than 1k out of the box -_-""

A few suggestions without overclocking:
- Set desktop resolution to 1024x768 with 32-bit colors. This is the standard resolution people use.
- From Display properties-advanced, change graphics quality to high performance (not high quality).
- Shutdown every program you can including antivirus, internet firewall, MBM5, etc.
- Then simply run the 3dmark benchmark.

If you really want to increase your scores, try the following:
- Try installing some of the older drivers. Then seem to produce higher scores.
- Go into the BIOS and disable the serial ports, parallel ports, on-board sound, and other stuff you don't need.

BTW - you are trying to break 10k, not 1k.

the 1.8 GHz CPU is what might be holding you back a tad. stop any unneeded services and close all apps running in the background.

give that page a read if you already haven't done so.

always run it after a fresh reboot as well.
