So yourself a big favor and do some research. A good place to start would be on the front page of this site under the "CPU DATABASE" and the "BEGINNERS GUIDE TO OVERCLOCKING".

The key to a successful overclocking experience is research!

Good Luck!

Just get a good HSF. Having tons of case fans may or may not help. For example, for my case...if I have an intake + exaust my temps are HIGHER, then if I just have an exaust.

Some good HSF's are Alpha's, Globalwins, ThemoEngine, Volcano 2 is good I hear too. Just stay away from orbs.

My 1.3 can hit 1.5 fine, although you need a medium to strong fan, such as YS Tech, or Delta to keep temps down.

It's the luck of the draw. I couldn't get stable at 1.5 with air cooling, had to go to watercooling and extensive burning in to get 1507. Even with the water, as ambient goes up from the warmer weather, down goes overclocking. Until I put my air conditioner in for the summer, I have backed down to 1.46

I think that you should buy yourself an OCZ Gladiator fan w/ heatsink. It should let you o/c that processor to 1.55 ghz, is my guess. It's only about $15 too!

Plz don't buy a GlobalWind!!! It probably isn't any better than your current standard fan w/ heatsink! Look at above post.

Sorry for posting so much, but I'm also getting an OCZ Gladiator for my 1.33 ghz athlon! I really wanna know if I can get it to at least 1.5 ghz. Maybe I can change the clock multiplier to 12 (12*133 = 1600 exactly)
