Please AMD, PLEASE use better ceramic for A4 dies!!

All AMD has to do is make their dies more durable.

It takes a natural disaster to crack a P3/Celeron2 die. But AMD Athlon dies crack if you breathe on them the wrong way.

So please PLEASE AMD make your damn dies better! Thank you.

I agree they should make them more durable, but only if it doesn't raise there cost. If you use a decent Heatsink and don't try to break it there not that easy to break honestly. I mean compared to a P3 yes, but i have installed and uninstalled a globalwin FOP-32 over 50 times i'd say, and the core never gets damaged.

No mention of that in the Palomino release..AKA 'Athlon 4'. =)

I chipped the first Duron core that I removed a heatsink from...I learned. Too many installs and removals later...I've not killed one yet.

It would be worth a few extra bucks if the odds of someone killing it were alot lower.
