I just applied a tiny bit of conductive ink to my TBird 1gig to replace the pencil markings that lasted a month so far. WOW! I actually get better perfomance from my CPU at different multipliers now. I think it's because the bridges are closed much more efficiently then with the lose graphite from pencil lead. Anyone else come up with these same results from a conductive pen?

Well, I can't say from ink to conductive pen..I use a conductive pen to close all of my bridges, but a friend with a very stubborn 800Mhz Duron could not get the pencil trick to work. He is an accomplished solderer, so he soldered the 'L1'S and has enjoyed full multiplier control since.
I can refer you to this article (http://www.overclockers.com/tips314/) about the relative conductivity of various pencil 'leads' and to this article about why multipliers don't always work (http://www.overclockers.com/articles309/).
A nice primer, I think.

I had good success with a conductive pen. Much easier than soldering, IMO.
