Currently, you can get Mushkin Black Level 2 PC3500 for 25% off if you purchase it from NewEgg. NewEgg is offering 512MB modules of Mushkin Black Level 2 (BH-5) PC3500 for $157 shipped. 512MB modules of Mushkin Black Level 2 PC3500 are retailed at $209 ($188.10 AC) from Mushkin.Com.

Buying 2 modules of 512MB Mushkin Black Level 2 PC3500 from NewEgg will cost you $314, while buying a 1GB Kit (2x512MB) from Mushkin.com will cost you $345.60 AC + shipping. For more then $30 off, you lose the gaurrentee for Duel-Channel operation (more of a marketing ploy then anything factual) and I believe you also lose out in the opportunity to recieve one of Mushkin's famous Air Bladder bags.

The cheapest BLACK PCB (non-generic green promo) BH-5 cost from Mushkin.Com are their PC3200 Black Level 2 Duel-Channel Kits. These cost less then purchasing 2 modules together (not buying the kit). A PC3200 Black Level 2 512MB (2x256MB) kit costs $171.90. A PC3200 Black Level 2 1GB (512MBx2) kit goes for $324 ($10 more then PC3500 BL2 @ NewEgg).

Anyone in the market for this stuff, should consider purchasing it through NewEgg. (at least if you want PC3500) The promise to perform at 2-3-2 (865/875 boards) or 2-2-2 (AMD) @ 217MHz is still there through NewEgg purchases. The 10% coupon from Mushkin.com, used in my pricing, is "DDRFALL".

hey speed, say you purchase the Muskin level 2 pc3500 1GB (2x 512's) from new egg right now for like $329.00 about Mushkins no questions asked policy who would you return the ram to if you couldnt hit 2-2-2-6? I assume you could return it till you got the right pair of matched ram that does the job right correct??

yes you can return it if either of the 2 sticks doesnt do 2226.. mushkin advertised the ram to run at pc3500 specs at 2226 =d and you're entitled to get that speed..
as for running 2226 in dual thats another question and you'd have to read mushkin's ram ratings to be more specific about it

They have revised the timings for the Mushkin on Canterwood/Springdales to 2-3-2-6 and 2-2-2-6 for Nforce.

actually isnt it 155 for eahc stick bringinjg a GB to 310? this is one hell of a deal and if you order them at the same time you will almost be guranteed they will work dual channel, well thats what mushkin told me anyhow.

The coupon refers to Mushkin.Com purchases (not Newegg) and is entered before check-out. There are various coupon codes that all refer to the same 10% discount - "ANAND" "DDRFALL"

considering the pc3500 and the pc3200 are bascially identical besides for the gurantee 222 @ 217 on the pc3500 the 2x512 for 280 is a steal, im sure these bh5 chips will be running out soon and would highly reccomend anyone looking for AWSOME ram to look no further. i was consdiering paying almsot 350 for 2x512 pc3200 from mushkin.

Same exact deal as the mushkin special folks were frothing at the mouth about earlier, except these are on the black PCB, which may be of slightly higher quality, and from newegg instead of mushkin (so no 2 weeks, no questions asked, try before you commit deal). Oh and these have heatspreaders.

I just ordered the 2x256 kit of BL2 PC3500 from Newegg. Hoping for 230MHz FSB with 'em

You should definitely get that, and maybe more. Iwas able to raise to 232 @ 2.5-3-3-7 timings, if you volt mod or have a board than can [ush 3.0 then you should be able to crank these puppies up to 233-235 @ 2-2-2-5

well i picked up a single 512 of the pc3500 lvl2 and most likely will buy another one in few mnths whjebn prices come down..
