Do i need to worry about buying matched pairs(ram) to run dual channel in a intel rig like i did on the amd rig?
I plan on overclocking but am not up to date on intels internal memory architecture like i was with amds?
Does intel even run in dual channel as its quad pumped?
I know its a dumb question and i think its dual channel but i better make sure before i buy memory.

it is better to buy matched pairs.

yes it does run dual channel quad pumped 200mhzX4=800mhz dual channel memory. it is fast as fook

thanks man.
Gonna buy some good low latency matched 3500 or 3700 ram.
I just read timings are more important than overall speed so i will go that route.
Maybe ocz 3700 gold matched pair?

I've managed to overclock OCZ's 3700 Gold (dual channel) to run at the same specifications as their PC4000 Gold, with a bit of active cooling.
