2.8 price drop anytime soon?????

Isn't there supposed to be a price drop on all the Intel P4's sometime towards the end of this year??? I thought I read that somewhere and I did some searching but couldn't find anything. I want to throw a 2.8 w/ 800mhz HT in my new system but if there is going to be a price drop then I will just wait. Just wondering if anyone could give me a linky to something or if someone knew anything about the price drop.

Intel always reposition the prices when they are ready to release a new top end CPU (Prescott). They usually lop off the low end too in order to make room, so they will kill the 2.4C.

I heard on Oct 26 it will be $208.
