First, you want the MD not the WMD... the 20 and 30 series are about 9 inches long (MD) the WMD are longer. There are 3 variations of the pumps, RLT, RXT and RZT you do NOT want the RXT you really want the RZT. I would get the 20RZT, anything more is overkill and will do nothing to help your temps. Consider the MD-15R as well.

I keep mine running 24x7. Even if my computer is shut off, it's not *that* much electricity, and the sound is quite soothing =p.

I would bet that the 30 puts out NO noticably increased heat over the 20. But, unless you are going with some crazy multi-block setup with LOTS of restriction, the 20 should be fine.

I'm in canada and the system that I will cooling is the one on mysig, but I think for the future and I want to keep it long time.

sorry for kinda stealing your thread. but i just got an Iwaki MD-20R from someone in a trade. I'm looking at the fittings that on the pump and i know it's bigger then my 1/2 clearflex. what does everyone do to get the tubing do. do i need to convert the fittings or should i just try to stretch them over the fittings
