Time for another Gamefoo21 related Tualatin thread:

K I did the pin mod 5 different times in succesion with not one change in voltage! I tried the mods for the 1.475(1.45) and the 1.5vcore models and the vcore is stay static at 1.488 and i am sitting on a vmod that should give me 1.65v! and bios read 1.488 grrr what the hell is wrong. Is it because I am using an ES chip that it doesn't work like normal? I know the board does the pin mod but messes with it but this is stupid, I mod for 2volts and i get 1.488 and i checked mbm it says 1.51vcore grrr.

I think I might of figured it out, the mobo uses the micro code of the cpu to determine the voltage and since the cpu i am using is a es chip its overriding the pins and giving voltage appropriate to its speed.

Thats why at 1.3 the bios was registering a 1.45vcore and at 1.4 its running 1.488(under volts). So the pin trick is useless on mobo's with universal sockets. This probably explains why the pin trick had wierd results with my normal 1.4 Cele-T.
