This all depends on your system temps (room temp, case cooling and airflow) . I lapped mine and use A/S II, the FCE 62540D can easily cool your chip if you are set up correctly. Read this new review on HSF for T-Birds;

thanks for the answer DaWhip
cuz i didnt feel like buying a new cooler i plan on lapping it and i already am using ASII with my Duron
First off, thanks for the shootout link Whip. Always nice to keep up on the latest shootouts. Also a neat article there on AXIA vs AVIA.
Jim, that is an awfully nice load temp for your Duron. Using my MC-462A, with a thermocouple embedded in the base, directly over the core, I can not do that good under load. Have you ever checked your temperature measuring system for accuracy? I don't mean that in a disrespectful way either. Just curious and by the way, what heatsink are you using to get that nice load temp?
Hoot
second the motion! i'd love to know how you got yer temps that low!
well i lapped my heatsink
i put AS2
i have a 120mm fan blowing on top of it
and i have midified my Kt7a probe and used some AS2 to attach it to the bottom of the chip and those temps are from winter no my temps are about 35 degrees
