1.33 AXIA running fine at 1400, how long to burn in to reach 1500 stable?

1.33 AXIA at 1400 (10.5x133)
Globalwin WBK38 w/Artic Silver II
ASUS A7V133a
Running 32c Idle
Running 44-48c Loaded

How long should I burn this in until I try to up to 1465, and then finally to 1500?

I would run it a few days at that speed then up it a notch. Be sure to watch temps. You may need to go to watercooling to get very high.

Personaly I don't believe burning does anything but go ahead and do it if you think it will help. A good watercooling system would be great to get rid of all that heat. If you want to go higher do the voltage mod to your board but watch those temps.

i'm belong to the same school of thought as bender. i don't really think burn-in helps, but knock yourself out if you want to.

personally, i'd say the only reason you in particular want to do it slowly is cos your temps are already high, and you definitely want to watch them. keep bumping it up, and watch the temps. try improving your case circulation, cos that will really help your temps with aircooling.

have fun! that's a really nice processor you have there! :)

I am am not going over 48c loaded at the time.
I may try and go to 1464 soon for giggles.

Thanks,

To burn-in, you need to run below default speed, as low as possible and retain stability..whilst raising the Vcore to your boards maximum..only if you have adequate cooling to keep your temperatures under 43C..This is an important part of a proper burn-in.

For some theory and practice, as well as some recommended programs to run, try this (http://people.freenet.de/s.urfer/conditioning.htm).

I do a burn-in as a matter of course. The programs in the above link are not only CPU intensive , but stress all of the components of your PC.

Mhz, that is an excellent link you provided. Too bad everyone has not read it, once or twice. I put it in my bookmarks for newbie advice as the question comes up quite often. Thanks again

YVW, Hoot. I use it a lot. I read all links, but alas I'm uncertain as to whether others do or not.

I'll keep posting it, if people keep asking the question.
