Just got a SLK800a with a smart fan 2 and AS3,was kinda disappointed with my temps.
Got Vcore at 1.8 and my temp are 42c-44c/idle 52c-54c/load.
Are these temps about normal,Ive reseated it 3 times:)
Just trying to get my 1700DLTC to 2.5mhz:D
Thanks

Have you cleaned and reapplied thermal paste between every reseating? Did you follow the application directions on the AS website?

With that overclock and Vcore your temps will probably be a little warm... those might be normal temps. :eh?:

Yes,I cleaned everthing after each reseating as per the AS3 instructions.
The fan is spinning at 4000rpm.

how are you reading your temps? Are you using a temp probe, or are you using the onboard sesnor? If you are using the on board sensor, then what BIOS are you running? If you arn't running rev 19 or better then the onboard sensors are not calibrated properly, and you need to flash your BIOS.

My 2 Cents.

I have version 2.0 of MB, with bios 18.Im using MB Monitor to view temps. My cases temps are between 25-28c.
Thanks
