hallo, i have 2 of these and trying to install on a win98 box with an nf7-s running sata raid 0. as we know fdisk cannot see the size properly. i do not have the option of running win2k or better on this box as it's incompatable with his ancient 1-way cable modem. so i have to get it running with win98. this is all i lack to finish this box and get it outta ma house :|.

what i really need is a copy of seagates newest diskwizard, it's diskwizard 2003 i believe, i've been trying to get it from the seagate site, but i get a dns or server error and page cannot be displayed. if anyone has a copy of this file and can get me on IM to send it or attatch it to an email, or even host it for me long enough for me to d/l that would be so awesome. otherwise i need any type of partitioning software i can use to overcome the win98 size limitations. any advice? help pleaseeeeeeeeee

thanks, i'll be at work until about 5pm est. i'll check back then.
thanx again.

Download the latest FDISK from M$ & use percentage values instead of MB, that should allow you to work with your large drives. Do visit FDISK.COM (http://www.fdisk.com/) for more tips with this utility.

Thanx Sonny, i got the partitions set, i used 1 20 gig for windoze, 1 50 gig for apps and games, and the rest in 1 80 gig partition. i got windoze 98se installed on the first partition. i had some problems with windows 98 reporting the sizes incorrectly, i had roughly have of each drive reported. a download from microsoft fixed that for me, thanks for the help, now i get this awesome machine out of my house, and start my next project :D.

in case anyone is interested, this box is built for a friend of mine, it's watercooled with a maze 4, chevette h/c, hydor pump, lot's of clearflex. :D. abit nf7-s, for now only 1 stick of pc3700, 2 80gig seagate cuda sata drives in raid 0, xp 2100 tbred b, so far it's hit 2.4 seemingly stable. that's right out of box. he's still using his 8500 aiw for video, till i get him talked into a 9800. at any rate, it's a sweet box, in a cheiftec full tower, 450w psu, windowed as well.

thanx again Sonny :)
