how much difference??

between a THERMALRIGHT SLK-700 aand
Thermalright SLK-900-U
in cool preformance
don't want it to loud

but what temp difference would I get
got abit nf7-s ver 2
with a 1700+ AMD XP TBRED-B *DLT3C* JIUHB
hopeing for 2400mhz to 2500mhz
or is there a better heat sink to go with

The 900u would definitely be better for cooling as well as noise. It can hold a 92mm fan which makes far less noise than most whiny 80mm or smaller.

i think it would be a few degrees, but the 900 supports 92 mm fans, IMO thats a plus, and one of the main reasons i got it.

you might look at the new swiftech. either that or get a slk-947u
