ive been readin here for a month or so and my parts got here about 5 hours ago, i installed them and now im at 650mhz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
not much i know but its my first time doing any of this and i didnt see or smell the deadly blue smoke!
im goin for more now and ill take pics of cpuid info tomorrow morning and give details of my mods.

thanx to all who answered my newbie questions, couldnt have done it without u guys!!!!!!!!!

Does it ever? Perhaps for some, but I think for most it is an ongoing pursuit. The growth of this site, and a whole cottage industry has grown up around this pursuit. Unless the manufacturers make it more difficult than any potential benefit derived from overclocking, I do not see it abating in its allure.
