ok.. How can I tell if my T-900 is made in Texas or Germany? I happens to work for microelectronic company and I can get my hands of some really nice conductive epoxy or resistor ink or anything else. What can I do to change the multiplier on the L1? I have connected the L1 by using some conductive epoxy(platinum, aluminum and silver), my machine doesn't even boot. Anyone know what's going on?
Thanks

The CPUs in Texas and Germany will be different colours. I think the ALuminium ones (blue core?) are made in Texas and use Aluminium; The CPUs with the green cores use copper and are made in Germany. Copper is supposed to be better than Aluminium, as the Copper can stand higher temps or something. I'm not entirely sure what the difference is.

I think Hoot or shadow told me that the color is just a polish of some kind but it does hint at the location it was made! the interconnects on the newest chips are copper! Athlon 4's will all have copper interconnects but I don't know how to tell if your tbird has copper or Al.

If the machine won't boot it sounds like the bridges are cross-connected which isn't good. Clean them off and reconnect them with the bridges shown below touching only. (the picture shows factory closed bridges.
