well buy the looks of youre setup you could use a nice water cooling rig and a volt mod for that 5900!
the volt mod can be found here! very simple and good results! it took my core voltage from 400mhz to 520mhz with water. 480mhz on stock air cooler. so ide say you could do some sereouse damage with a 5900 and a nice water cooler.

Before I messed with anything like a volt mod, I can pretty much guarantee you that it's a driver problem. Video/mobo chipset driver's.
What you need to do is a clean driver install. Use a program like driver cleaner. Then get the new Det's

Iam thinking its my chipset drivers, but I have tried everything to install them. I have used driver cleaner, and still no luck. Im about to do a reformat. I wonder if that will help at all??
I really hope I dont have a bad mobo. It runs great accept that I have a device thats called SM Bus Controller, in my device manager that I cant seem to get drivers for.
I was really thinking of water cooling, I wonder if that will help at all. My sig is wrong, my card is at 490/970 rock stable. Will water cooling my Fx take me to 7,000+ scores? or close to it?
I thought it was really hard to water cool a Fx5900 because there isnt to many options for both RAM and GPU blocks. GPU blocks are a dime a dozen, but have not found to many RAM and GPU blocks.
BTW: I use coolbits, nothin special.

Modern RAM chips do not overclock any better with extreme cooling or even H2O. I was just reading a thread where a guy had made custom block's for each BGA and was running them on a chiller at about 5C......he got no better clock's from that.
