I'm hunting for new memory and have a question regarding the chips used in the 3200 and 3500 sticks of Mushkin Black level 2 sticks. I know the 3500 uses WB BH5 chips but was curious as to what the 3200 used. CH5? I'm gunning for 230+ FSB on an NF7-S.

PC3200 Level II uses BH-5 chips too. This has been confirmed by the moderaters on the Mushkin forums.

You can call the 800 Mushkin number and talk to their tech guys about it too. They have the world's best customer support, they are just great to deal with.

I'd get the 3500 cause it hardly costs more than the 3200.. they are both bh5

Well if your Mushkin doesn hit 222 at the sold speeds you can send it back untill you find ones you like. If you want to get crazy then just order the 4k, the timings are relaxed but they might get there. Plus there is good weekend deals going on for various sticks so decide fast. :)

You will probably need some extra vdimm to do 230 2-2-2.. like more than 2.9 probably.

I'm running an 8rda+ that q149 sold me(ty again!) that is running some 3500 bh5 sticks @ 235 @ 3.1v. I also have some level2 3500 and it runs at the same 235 fsb. Great ram! (all timings at 2-2-2-11)
