well i got my AMD 1.2C @ 1.47GHZ 44c - 47c (116f) WATERCOOLED BECOOLING AQUASTEALTH2 I dont understand why its so hot iam very pist off i tried the peltier thingy that sux as well with a 122wat peltier ,does any one know why my temps are so hot ? i got artic silver on cpu core just enough and my waterblock on top the jagged edge copper block I tried replaceing the waterblock on my CPU 4 times i still get same reading of temps I even let the water cool overnight by just leting my kit sit without leaving it on. How can i make it cooler like 80-90f at least thats bs with those temps with watercool to me this watercool is a piece of trash for $200 with shiping and that purple liquid stuff they sell my fan had the same temps and that only coast me $26 iam runing out of money and nerves with this I have a MSI K7T266 Pro mobo newest bios etc... and the mobo is like the same temp as my cpu i don't wana burn it out my Iwill motherboard is alrdy dead from a watercool disaster plz help me ty.......ReTiCuLe G)Ds

that's temp at 100% load?
I'm using a 1000C@1533 and 2.13V, I get temps ~38°C using a MCW462 Swiftech waterblock, Eheim 1048 pump and 2 120mm BE Cooling rads (old type)...
you don't state what voltage you run this chip at, but since 1.85V is pretty standard, I used this in the Radiate util...if you run at 1.85V our CPU is radiating ~85Watts of heat....Mine at 2.13V radiates ~112W....so you should get way better temps than me....
Have you checked the block for scrapnel? maybe you should try running the block directly form the tap and see if flow is good....just saw someone in here mention they had this problem with a BE cooling water-block....also check your tubing for kinks....
BTW ambient temp's hover at ~20°C, and I got ACPI disabled, so 38°C is at full load....
more info would be nice...pump type, ambient air temps and so on

yup it is 47-50 @ 100% Load and 44c idle thats without pelt with pelt its like 52c and i tried reversing sides and i got a cold plate, voltage is at 1.75 and 1.85 they both gimmie same temps so it don't matter = ( I can't afford to buy any more crap i wish i could return this and get a swiftec = ( btw my fsb is @ normal 266bus i tried it at higher speeds and it didn't run as stable as it is now @ reg bus 266.

wierd....kinda sounds like there could be contact problems between your slug and water-block...hmm....sounds like a too thick copper-shim to me....do you use one? if so, try sanding it down some on both sides (I always do that)....
Also, what's the ambient temp, and coolant temp (after exiting the rad) ...and what pump do you use?

I don't got a copper shim nothing no kinks and it looks like it runs fine i can see the waterflowing perfect I don't get it = ( i apreciate ur help and posts ty bro.

Maybe your pump just doesn't pump enough thru to really get a good flow in the block and radiator. I don't know what it's rated at but I know my Eheim 1250 hobby pump will do 315gph up to 5 feet. I get a constant charge of water and I dont think I even have 4 feet of tubing. My pump is outside of my case so I dont add that heat in the case and my radiator is at the lower front of my case for the intake to suck into the radiator and the 120mm YS-Tech 138cfm fan sucks the intake air out the radiator. Try different posistions of your setup, may be the fix.

sorry, my ISP went down on me yesterday....
Checklist:
1. Check your coolant temps, should be in the ambient temp+5°C range...
2. Is the radiator fan moving enough air?
usually there's not a big difference in water-block performance (in non pelt setups)....so your block should be good....something seems to be wrong!!
of course you thermal probe could be way off...
I adjusted my CPU settings yesterday to match your CPU power rating (~77W) and I got a CPU temp around 32°C....keep in mind we are using different boards....and the reported temps can't be compared really...
Good luck!!!

I have no idea what is rong man with the temps in my bios but ill tell you 1 thing i adjusted it to 1.5ghz 136x11 @ 1.75 vcore and DDr ram voltage @ 2.6 and it just owns it didn't crash 1nce I love it lol I think im gona go for 1.53ghz soon but my fsb settings for usb ports can't handle anything over 138fsb , it seems like my radiator fan isn't pushing enough air its like really low and quite lol I tried externeal power supply for it but it won't let me push air towards the radiator with external power supply only away from it neither will it let me reverse polarity my dad even tried to hes an electrican. I looked at my fan and it wasn't geting enough air flow to the radiator when i hooked up an external 12v dc powersupply i get now with my fan 40c to 44c amd my mobo temps are 41 103f I think if i buy a better fan for that radiator instead of a panflow , I will probally get alot better temps cause I tried a house hold 140mm fan and omg i was at 33c lol the only thing is my monitor was flickering like crazy btw my case is open.
