AMD slot A 900mhz t-bird overclocking

I am thinking about getting a GFD but i want to know wheather i should or not/
Now i know that my motherboard will go up to 10x multiplier,however i was thinking that if my GFD will go up to 10.5x will i achive this speed?
Also anyone have a clue on what kind of temp drops will occur when the plastic case is off?

Your temp won't drop much at all with the plastic case off...

It'll run at 1050MHz no worries though...
