What game is better than UT2003 to try?

I tried to play to UT2003 for 3 months,
and decided like many people that it is not so good game like
advertized. Many people rate it like 3 of 5.

Complex but bot nice grahics.
too just loud music- on what common stress is (/instead of) quality is did how I think.

For it is substancially bad dynamics -
player moves very slowly like in water - this is too abnormally.
In oher games, even UT1 normality is too much normal - faster
and pleasant than here.

Not pleasant weapon, not balanced as said profesional people.

So I need to find good looking, faster, normal, balanced, interesting, pleasant, - popular(!!) between half of professional players game - for guarrantee that game is Ok , not by exceptions opinion.

Return to Castle WolfStain - does it so ok, as I described my desire?

I play usually on Antalys goodlike,
but have not any good impression from that game.
to differ it from some else or old.

PLease advice mt other game.

Can I ask you a question? What country are you from? As for the game I would assume that you are talking about First Person Shooters only? I would recommend Quake 3. Its popular and fast paced. Other than that I can't really think of any others. I'm more into games like Homeworld 2 and other Real Time Strategy games.

The first Unreal Tournament is much better then UT2K3. UT2K3 feels too much like Quake 3...much different.

Personally I like the slower, more strategy oriented style of the tactical sims. Playing Ravenshield right now and love it. For my gaming group the Tom Clancy Rainbow 6 series of games is probably our all time best games. We hardly ever have a lan party where we don't play the most current game out of that series.

I patched UT 2003, (2225 patch)
and found it more speedy,
so I can set to this game 4 of 5,
but not BEST, and movement in UT1 remains rally better.

about tase:
authors decided to satisfy most low end human reflexies:
thay show sexual movement by penis regiion of bots whan they win- it is really BAD.

Thay sold their fair of lookin independently to NVIDIA,
optimized for only their card and showing for all their advertising at game begin antil not cut by collegues.

The bad taste often became total bad taste - and result show this.
It is possible to good play (not excellent as game named and UT1 ALMOST was, but pure maps and game play), but not WANTS or having big desire
at this conditions.

Q3 is not a intelligent game, it is for teens, or usually dombs.
The back side criteria :
they have rough instruments:gas-fire and so on.
Premetive aeasy to use but tough,
amd making game arcade with it, just assigned bots to be killed.

the very just exciting, premeetive music.

How to change it?
Just play WinAmp? Or there is common way to change for UT 2003?
I will still play due to no prepared HALO, HL &C.

Bad people can not create good game, as a common rule.

but it was "Expansion Pack" 2CD and this is not run
after install with no any messages...
Just closes immediately.

Does I need to have inital game CD ?

In UT2k3 you can turn down the music in the options. we have an [OCG] server if you want to jump in sometime and play with some Overclockers.

You can turn down the musics and even replace them. UT2003\Music directory has the musics as .ogg format files and you may replace them with other .ogg files (make sure they have same filenames).

And about the winning taunts or movements you can make; don't take things too seriously!

Day of defeat gets my vote. I played DC for a a long time but it got old after a while. DoD is very fast paced and is somewhat comparable to CS, although DoD requires a little more thought.

It's a very fast paced game, actually in the No One Lives Forever Series. The multiplayer is very fast, the graphics are... eh... no bots, no bleh.... just try the multiplayer demo. It's free, and you've got nothing to lose. Except your bandwith.... yeah...
