I am running a Athlon as above on a A7V133 (bios 1004 o2d beta) with a 9.5 multiplier x 143mhz (crucial ram).

Anyways I have been using my computer like that for a few weeks with no problems and played Quake 3 for ever and ran 3Dmarks 2000 & 2001 no probs, seti etc.

Anyways ran Prime 95 yesterday and it ran for 30 seconds then said 05>0.4 test haulted, possible hardware failure. So I click continue but does it again. Clock down to 1200 (default) and it runs fine.

I ran it a while back O/C the same on the 1004 official bios but no go on the 02d it seems.

I dont want to go back to the 1004 officail because my USB scanner doent work with it so should I care that Prime 95 doesnt work O/C? Or leave it at 1200 till the next bios update?

And BTw it does not overheart and has never crashed running anything...

Thanks!

Dont worry Prime 95 is very picky. I would keep 1.36 if nothing else has a problem at that speed. Prime 95 is a good tool if you want to make sure the system is 101% stable.

I can get my Duron 800 up to 1028mhz with no problems in Prime95, but I can get it up to nearly 1.1ghz 100% stable with a few errors in Prime 95. All the errors are telling you is that your computer is not calculating properly.
