Well, I did a complete reinstall, after not being able to install my chipset drivers. Days of trying, I decided to do a reformat. I thought it wouldn't help. I was convinced that I had a bad mobo.

The reformat went flawlessly, I installed everything and did some minor tweaking. First 3dmark03 score was 6752. Not bad at all considering that I couldn't get above 6250 no matter what!

Also, I tried 3dmark01. I was stuck at 12.5k. My first run scored 18,675. Im so happy with my system now. Now its time for some real fine tuning. I want close or to hit 7,000 in 03. Amazing that something so stupid (ie: bad driver install), could make my computer come to a hault. Thanks for all your help guys!!!

Now for some W/C!! Im still using all stock cooling. :p

OK that's great to hear. Bad driver's are cause for so damn many bad scores. It's almost automatic to look there first.

But did you install the chipset driver's after the format then?

Hehe, just checking.

ok I made all the changes walldow that you told me too. I hit 6864. My card is at 510/980. I have to go to work, so I will work on my mem speed when I get home. I got 510 rock stable w/o my side panel on my case. 515 will freeze, and is unstable. I have voltage set to 1.6 in the bios. Like I said I havent messed with my mem yet maybe I can get 985-990 out of it, but thats about it.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks again!
