a7v8x overclocking.....

I just tried to overclock my AMD 1800+ yesterday on a a7v8x mb yesterday, and when I began to increase the cpu frequency multiple or cpu external frequency above about 100mhz above the stock settings, it would just hang. I could get it to about 1700mhz before it would hang....... any help would be apreciated

Thats about where my old 1800+ crapped out on that board too.
When I replaced the 1800+ with my Barton 2500+, I was able to hit 14x166 and 13x180.

I have just swapped out the A7V8X for a A7N8X and it is sooo much better.
