Any one know where 2 get a 40x40x10mm fan

I need one for my removable drive, and one with a 2 pin connector, preferably one that has a female 2 prong on the end. I went to a whole bunch of computer stores and i cant seem to find one.

You could try Sidewindercomputers.com. they even let you hear the sounds the different fans make. they usually have good deals and shipping is cheap and prompt. I highly recommend them. one of the best for modding supplies. they rank right up there with newegg in my book

Nope no ne has what i need

the fan needs to have 2 wires going out and be 2 pin.

well heres some two prong ones but if i know what youre talking about they most likely wont fit.....if you have the fan that was in there before or an old non-working videocard fan or NB fan then you can splice the wires other then that not sure.

What's the reason you can't solder on the old connectors, did you throw the old fans away?

I think your chances of finding one with the exact connector on are slim to none. Also number of wires shouldn't matter, if it's a 3 wire, just don't connect the RPM sensing wire.

Got one of these* 40mm fans from All Electronics myself. It's not really
necessary to have speed sensing on the NB fan but it's nice
to have. And for $2.50 it's a not bad if you are ordering
anyway. (save shipping charges)
