Hey everyone, I've noticed that my 12v lines are way to low(11.5-11.7) on this psu (300 watt ) and WAY to high on the other (350 watt) 12v(12.6-12.8)

on the 300 watt, When i do anything slightly intensive on CPU load, the program im running will just shut down, On the 350 the comp will reboot once the 12v line gets to high.

any ideas?

Was thinking of putting in a 250 watt psu i have lieing around to run my cd rom, floppy, and HD, and soundcard. Can anyone lead me to a thread/Link that'll give me step by step instructions for this, thanks in advance.

Are you talking about totally disabling the 12v on the 300? And yea I know what your takling about... There used to be a sticky about it and I did the mod myself. Very easy.
Heres a link though: http://www.speedy3d.com/articles/case_mod_p3/index.shtml

will doing just this
http://www.speedy3d.com/articles/case_mod_p3/images/casemodp3_1.jpg

work alone(just to turn it on) cuz i odnt have the stuff to make a switch right now, And im probabbly going to buy an antec 400 or something in the future to get rid of this stuff thats bugigng me, heh.

Also if i did that, Is there a risk of a shock, or is it just 12volts running through? (cuz i know 12volts isnt alot)
